PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: June 2026

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

This website is owned and operated by Rubén Ortega Díaz, Art Director based in Madrid, Spain. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach him directly at hello@rubenortegadiaz.com.

WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED

This website does not use contact forms or collect personal data directly. The only way you share information with Rubén is by clicking the email link and writing to him from your own email client. That communication is handled entirely between you and your email provider.

Additionally, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with it. This service collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent on site, device type, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information is collected through this tool.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS AND COOKIES

Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to distinguish users and sessions. The data collected is processed by Google LLC and may be stored on servers outside the European Economic Area. Google's own privacy policy governs how this data is handled and can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The use of Google Analytics is based on legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR), specifically the interest in understanding website usage in order to improve it. No data is sold, shared with third parties for commercial purposes, or used for advertising targeting.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of any personal data held about you. Since this website does not store personal data directly, most of these rights apply to data held by Google. You may exercise your rights by contacting Rubén at the email address above or by reaching the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD, at aepd.es.

DATA RETENTION

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. Email communications are kept for as long as they are professionally relevant and deleted when no longer needed.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This policy may be updated occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date at the top.
